Postmortem - INC2748787 - Corrigo Sync Integration Delay
Customer incident report
Service(s) impacted
Corrigo Sync integration execution — all integrations processed through the Sync platform experienced delayed execution
Outbox message delivery used to trigger downstream integration processing
Incident summary
On August 3, 2026, customers using the Corrigo Sync platform experienced delayed integration execution due to a network connectivity issue affecting an internal messaging service used to process integration data. The disruption began at 6:00 AM US Central and was substantially resolved by 9:00 AM US Central, a period of approximately three hours. Upon detection, our engineering team immediately began investigating and implemented a change that relieved the processing bottleneck and allowed the backlog of delayed messages to clear.
Root cause
The disruption was caused by degraded connectivity to an internal messaging service used to process Corrigo Sync integration data, which slowed message processing significantly below normal levels. Further investigation traced the connectivity issue to high processor utilization on network firewall infrastructure that routes traffic between internal systems.
Resolution
Our engineering team reduced the batch size used to process integration messages, which relieved the processing bottleneck and allowed the backlog to clear. In parallel, our network engineering team identified the high processor utilization on the affected firewall infrastructure and completed a firewall upgrade to resolve it on August 4, 2026.
